Kennet Heath Residents Association (KHRA) are proud to announce their first community event, taking place at Moorside Community Centre on Urquhart Road on Sunday 19th October 2008.

All sellers are welcome to bring their unwanted household goods, toys, cd’s, clothes…anything that you would like out of your house to make room for the onslaught of Christmas! Bring a table, and set up in the spacious sports hall at our local community centre, then watch those pennies roll in.

Buyers should come and check out the bargains available. We have already been promised designer clothes, toys, china, books, cd’s and baby equipment, and many other goods. Come along and see whether we have that item you really need at a fantastic price.

A cup of tea and a cake will help you gather the strength to stagger home with your bargains, and you will also have a chance to meet some of the KHRA Committee members and chat about the future plans for the Association and Kennet Heath.

Doors open to Sellers to set up at 10am and Buyers will be admitted from 11am precisely. To sell all your worldly goods will only cost you a bargainous £5 per table!

Buyers and Sellers are welcome from anywhere, not just Kennet Heath, so please tell your friends and family about us.

Please contact Lisa or Bev to book a table, or if you have any questions, by private message through the forums or by email at fundraising@kennetheath.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Kennet Heath Residents Association (KHRA)

Kennet Heath Residents Association is a recently formed group for residents of the Kennet Heath estate, a large development of new houses and flats situated close to Thatcham train station.

The aims of KHRA are to support residents in any challenges/issues they may face, promote community cohesion, and build and foster a community spirit on the estate.

The Fundraising and Community Activities Committee has been established to organise community events, and raise money for the KHRA to fund future events, such as a summer barbecue and fun day.
